Nail is used for Sub-Trochanteric Trochanteric Fracture. For inserting a nail 5cm incision is made by palpating the greater trochanter approximately 5cm to 8cm proximal from the tip of the greater trochanter and making a parallel incision in the fasciae of the gluteus medius and split the gluteus medius in line with the fibres. Available types: SSTN Long 135°, SSTN Short 125°, 130°, 135° & 140°, STFN 130° & 135° Available diameters of the nail are 9.0mm, 10.0mm, 11.0 and 12.0mm.
