Dorsal Distal Radius Plates are indicated for the fixation of Intra and Extra Articular Fractures and Osteotomies of the Distal Radius from dorsal site. Make a longitudnal incision for fixing the plate slightly radial to the flexor carpi radialis tendon, dissect the flexor carpi radialis taking care of radial artery and by exposing and detaching apronator quadratus from lateral border of the radius and elevate it toward the ulna, proximally incision depends on the pattern and length of plate used.
